The boys played Jingle Bells on chime bars, with the help of Bergie from the Magic of Music. We learned that a xylophone is a wooden instrument but a glockenspiel is metal.
Mrs Claus in Room 5

We were very lucky today to have Mrs Claus come to visit! She told us all about how Santa and his elves are working very hard preparing all the gifts for the children on the good list. She also told us about the mischievous Grinch who tried to trick her with a green bow so he could steal her magic key to the workshop!!
Christmas

All of the boys in room 5 have been very busy this month preparing for Christmas. We have had lots of fun learning about Christmas traditions and the first Christmas tree.
Well done to the boys for their marvellous performance at the Christmas Concert on Wednesday, even Ted wore his Christmas jumper for the occasion!!

It was a magical day in school. The boys saw a rainbow in the yard and when they came in we had a very special visit from Mrs Claus!
